Redbrook Hayes Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding procedures, including our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
At times, we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that any concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move may negatively impact upon the child's welfare.
All of our staff receive annual training for child-protection, Prevent and E-Safety, this was last completed in September 2020, and is due for review in September 2021.
Designated Safeguarding Lead - Mr Chris Gaffiney (Headteacher)

We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism, to this end we develop an annual risk assessment and action plan to protect our learners from the risk of radicalisation and extremism of any form. This risk assessment and action plan can be accessed here.
